Why is goal setting important?

The benefits of goal setting are HUGE, and I am a big believer that setting your goals is vital as the first step in any fitness endeavor. That's because setting a goal, and having a challenge is the best motivation you can have for making a plan and getting the results you want. As I like to say:, "If you don't know where you're going, how are you going to know how to get there?",
